Le Bureau des Douanes de Kidira is now connected to the GAINDE system. This electronic platform, designed to facilitate and accelerate customs clearance operations, was officially put into service on Monday, marking the office’s entry into the digital age. The event was presided over by the Sous-préfet of Bélé, Abdoul KONATE, in the presence of high-ranking customs authorities, including Colonel Issa NDIAYE, Regional Director of Customs of the Southeast, and Lieutenant-Colonel Kalidou DIOUARÉ, Chief of Bureau of Kidira. This connection is directly linked to the strategic objectives of the administration: to modernise and dematerialize the procedures. It aims to extend the customs fluidity of ports towards domestic units. The ceremony was attended by a large number of people, a sign of the interest of the public authorities and the private sector in this reform.
