The forecourt of North Hills International School was abuzz with energy on Thursday morning as a distinguished gathering of family, friends, dignitaries, and members of the public came together for the official launch of ‘Living A Healthy Lifestyle’, the debut publication by Saiid Kwasi Adu.

Chaired by Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I, the Omanhene Kyeame (Traditional Chief) of the Asante Juaben Traditional Area, the event attracted an impressive cross-section of Ghanaian society. Among the notable attendees were Professor Opayin Kofi Agyekum, Prof. Anthony Owusu-Ansah (Acting Executive Secretary of the Lands Commission, Ghana), Professor Obeng, (Dean of GIMPA Business School), renowned gospel musician Great Ampong, highlife legend Kwesi Pee, actor Mr. Beautiful, relationship counsellor Counselor Lutterodt, media personality Papa Bills, and comic actor Akrobeto, alongside many other respected figures.

In his welcoming address, Opayin Agyekum introduced the author as a longstanding practitioner and advocate of homeopathy, deeply committed to public health education. Saiid Kwasi Adu—father of Dr. Adu-Boateng of the EndPoint Homeopathic Clinic—shared that his motivation for writing the book was to offer practical, accessible guidance on improving health through simple, sustainable daily habits.
The launch was enlivened by musical performances from Great Ampong and Kwesi Pee, whose spirited interludes resonated warmly with the audience. Prayers were offered by Imam Saula, with a closing benediction delivered by Amoako Atta.
The book review was presented by His Lordship Justice Solomon Oppong Tumasi, a High Court judge, who emphasised the work’s distinctive focus on homeopathic principles and its contrast with orthodox medical approaches. He noted that whereas conventional medicine often prioritises symptom management, Adu’s book champions preventative health through conscious attention to diet, nutrition, rest, and overall lifestyle. The 14-chapter volume covers a broad spectrum of topics—from immune function and digestive wellness to chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.

A particularly memorable moment arose during the review of the final chapter, which addresses erectile dysfunction. The subject prompted both laughter and keen interest among attendees. “The author deliberately reserved one of the most widely discussed health concerns for the conclusion,” Judge Tumasi noted, highlighting Adu’s tactful and engaging treatment of sensitive topics.
In his closing remarks, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I commended the author for producing a timely and valuable resource—one equally relevant to medical professionals and the lay public. He encouraged Ghanaians to absorb the book’s lessons and incorporate its advice into their daily routines.

The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Bernice Adu Boateng, followed by an opportunity for book signings and personal interactions with the author.
‘Living A Healthy Lifestyle’ is now available for purchase at all branches of Endpoint Homeopathic clinic across Ghana–and it comes highly recommended for individuals, and health practitioners interested in practical, holistic approaches to enhancing well-being through mindful lifestyle choices.
