According to Seneweb sources, the Diamniadio territorial brigade, led by Adjutant-Chief Alassane Tounkara, carried out a decisive operation that led to the dismantling of a criminal network composed of Bissau-Guinean nationals active in the Darou Salam district. Seven officials linked to the QNET structure were interviewed and deferred yesterday to the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Rufisque. On 21 November 2025, at around 16:30 hours, three individuals of Bissau-Guinean nationality presented themselves to the brigade in a state of manifest distress. Their behavior immediately attracted the attention of the gendarmes. Interrogated separately, the three men revealed that they had been victims of a vast scam operated at Diamniadio. They claim to have been contacted by a group promising them professional opportunities abroad, including a football career for each of them, conditional on the successful completion of the pretendent tests. Convinced by the speeches of the swindlers, they paid large sums of money: 900 000 FCFA, 200 000 FCFA and 150 000 FCFA. A total of 1 250 000 FCFA which, according to them, represented the last obstacle before realizing their ambitions. Thanks to the detailed information provided by the victims, the gendarmes quickly identified the location of the suspect group.
