​Communiqué du Conseil des Ministres du Mercredi 26 Novembre 2025 

  The Council of Ministers met on Wednesday 26 November 2025 under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar FAYE, President of the Republic. TITLE OF THE COMMUNICATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC. – The President of the Republic is hereby authorized to withdraw from the office of the President of the Republic. The Head of State has made a communication on the following points: Strengthening of economic patriotism and effective launch of the Sunu Champion initiative. In his communication, Mr. le Président de la République reminds the Government of the primary place it attaches to the development of the national private sector in the implementation of the Vision “Senegal 2050”. In this context, it requests the Prime Minister to replace more the actors of the national private sector and local enterprises at the heart of the implementation of public programmes and projects and to accelerate the operational renewal of the framework for the management and monitoring and evaluation of private investments in Senegal. It also announces that it will chair the first meeting of the Presidential Council on Renewed Investment in the second half of March 2026 and asks the Prime Minister to prepare, with all the actors involved, this important meeting which is part of the recovery and recovery of the national economy. In addition, the President of the Republic calls for the best possible implementation of the action plans contained in the national strategy for the promotion of investment and the development of the private sector. It informs the Council of the presidential initiative called “Sunu Champion”, which will be effectively deployed from the month of December 2025, to promote the emergence of national champions, with a view to strengthening the primary role of national economic actors and local enterprises in the implementation of the National Agenda for Transformation, Senegal 123.
