Super Eagles forward Umar Sadiq found the back of the net as Valencia secured a 2-0 win against Ourense CF in their Copa del Rey encounter on Tuesday at the Estadio O Couto.
The breakthrough came just five minutes into the second half when Fran Carmona inadvertently put the ball into his net, giving Valencia an early advantage. Sadiq sealed the victory 12 minutes from time with a clinical finish, marking his first goal for Los Ches.
The 27-year-old Nigerian international played the full 90 minutes, showcasing his form and contributing significantly to the team’s success.
With the Copa del Rey victory behind them, Valencia now turns their focus to Sunday’s La Liga showdown against Real Sociedad.
