Mahmadane Sarr, a renowned luxury car renter, was placed under a deposit order by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Judicial Financial Pool (Pjf), a newspaper revealed L’Observateur specifying that the investigation was based on an invoice for car rental to the State estimated at more than 14 billion Fcfa. Specialized in the rental of luxury cars, Mahmadane Sarr has been in prison since yesterday after his placement under a deposit order by the investigating judge of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Judicial Financial Pool. According to the newspaper, it is reproached to M. Sarr to have received more than 14 billion Fcfa for the rental of luxury vehicles between 2020 and 2023.. Each year, the group receives an average of 2 billion Fcfa from the Macky Sall vehicle rental scheme for the disposal of its vehicles, according to the quotidien de la presse.
