Kenny Law, of Law’s Choice Distillery in Franklin County VA, known for his switch on the long-running television set Moonshiners, has died.
The news of Kenny’s passing was made public in a social media post by Law’s Choice factory, where Kenny and his aunt Henry, who likewise appeared on Moonshiners, work.
” With pain, we announce that Everett” Kenny” Law passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, surrounded by loved people”, Law’s Choice Distillery shared in a blog authored by Henry Lee Law.
Henry and Kenny Law began learning the art of making whiskey as children under the supervision of Amos Law, Henry’s Dad, who was a well-known prohibit bootlegger. Law’s Choice Distillery, which is now owned by Henry, was founded by Amos.
Following their appearance on the Discovery Channel program Moonshiners, the trio made their way into popular culture. Collectively known as” The Laws,” their daring trade captivated viewers ‘ attention and incorporated them into folklore.
Their long-standing family tradition of Moonshining even benefits their popularity. According to legend, Amos Law started his career as a Franklin County moonshiner aged just sixteen, in 1952. He transformed Law’s Choice into a sizable company with submission both up and down the East Coast. After his father passed away, Henry Law took over the home firm, and Kenny has continued the family history.
The word of Kenny’s dying spread like wildfire throughout the Moonshiners fans and sparked delicate tributes.
” Final Night We Lost a Real Legend, Kenny Law from our Moonshiner Family. You will be greatly missed; getting to know you and calling you my companion may be special. Rest Easy Big Guy”, said Amanda Bryant, even of Moonshiners.
