Plateau United technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun has said his team put in a lot of work in their away fixtures.
The Peace Boys have lost all their away games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
Plateau United were defeated 2-0 by Kun Khalifat FC in a matchday 15 fixture in Owerri on Sunday.
Adegun admitted his team lost the game after conceding the second goal.
“The second goal changed the colour of the game against Kun Khalifat FC,” Adegun stated in a post-match interview.
“For the away games nothing nearly close to what we need, the players must be willing to sacrifice a lot and work more.”
Plateau United currently sit in 15th position on the table.
