Peter Shay, a Ghanaian singer-afrobeat artist, has discussed some issues that some musicians encounter when repeating their clothes.
The award-winning singer explained in a recent discussion with blog Zionfelix that it’s frequently difficult for artists to wear the same outfit more than once.
Peter Shay explained that as a public figure, there is a lot of pressure to keep a smooth image, mainly because both supporters and critics pay attention to what celebrities wear.
” It’s truly difficult to wear the same clothes as an actor or famous person because your followers frequently criticize you. Often, they make it seem like you don’t have enough assets or aren’t doing well financially. Followers have a way of pointing out when you repeat clothing, and it can attract unwanted teasing or bad feedback”, she remarked.
The” Survivor” hitmaker further noted that in today’s social media-driven world, where pictures and videos are constantly shared and archived, the outfits celebrities wear are immediately noticed and compared. She continued, noting that she occasionally mix her outfits up to avoid making it very clear that she is repeating it.
