Farba Ngom, a griot who has become an indispensable figure in the inner circle of former President Macky Sall, is today under the spotlight for troubling revelations. In an exclusive interview with Kewoulo TV, Gorgui Ndoye, a Senegalese entrepreneur, was accused of unprecedented gravity. According to Ndoye, their meeting at the famous King Fat Palace hotel, initially organised to discuss a market for the manufacture of T-shirts for electoral campaigns, took an alarming turn. Farba Ngom would have released a mysterious white powder during this meeting, hinting his implication in a drug trafficking network. This gesture, far from being isolated, was part of a wider scheme of criminal activities aimed at asserting his power and influence. Ndoye also affirms that Farba Ngom possessed a secret chamber filled with liasses of bank notes, a sign of an enrichment that he qualifies as obscene and illicit. According to him, this money is the result of practices of embezzlement of public funds and money laundering, accusations which, if confirmed, would testify to a shameless exploitation of the resources of the Senegalese people. However, the most troubling aspect of the revelations lies in the extent of the privileges that Farba Ngom would have claimed.
