Captain Smart has criticised the Ghana Police Service, especially George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, for his inaction during the preceding NPP administration.
Captain Smart claimed that Dampare has miserably failed at his work and does not merit praise as some people believe.
Kennedy Agyapong, a former part of Assin Central and former Psc presidential candidate, was cited by Smart as an example of how the group attempted to pay him to withdraw from the race.
He claimed that no one tried to bribe him with$ 800 million, claiming Honorable Agyapong, a well-known politician. Both the other state safety organizations and Dimampare did not conduct an investigation.
Captain Smart referred to that as a Dampare failure and demonstrated the NPP’s serious corruption.
