A favorite Rockville, Maryland singer, Lil Xelly true name Elijah Johnson has died, according to reports. He was 24.
Lil Xelly, who broke through in recent years after grinding ahead on audio, died on Thursday, January 16th, 2024, reports DC Artists Television.
The famous fresh rapper has no known cause of death. The identities of the patients have not been made public by law enforcement, despite reports of two separate murders in Rockville that sparked rumors.
Lil Xelly started recording audio as a center schooler, first putting out films on Spinrilla. But it wasn’t until he discovered Soundcloud and began to release music regularly that he started to gain some momentum in the music subculture. Xelly was known for having a strong work ethic, which allowed him to transfer music at a speed that few other designers had match. He would use this strategy throughout the rest of his career.
Johnson’s first job was a 105-song album (yes, actually ) which he titled More Xelly, released in 2017. After making a splash with more Xelly, Lil Xelly kept his fresh enthusiasts glued by releasing songs at a fast pace, dropping at least two jobs each month! ” I got kits enthusiasts who want to hear totes sh*t by me,” he said in an interview with thefader.

Long after breaking out of the audio bubble and achieving some mainstream success, Xelly kept releasing music at a fast, hectic pace. His latest job, WTSC, ended up making a splash on both Spotify and Apple Music.
Some of Xelly’s supporters ‘ stans were frightened when they learned of his passing, some rushing to his website to show their impact over a music video tape he had posted on Thursday, the day of his passing.
