A collision between a tanker truck and a motorcycle claimed the lives of two people on the spot, in Kolda, a town in Senegal located in Haute-Casamance, in the south of the country, near the border with Guinea-Bissau. The tragedy occurred shortly before 20 hours on the axis connecting the city centre to Saré Kémo, in the commune of Kolda. According to our confrères d’iRadio, the driver of the truck lost control of his vehicle in an attempt to avoid a cow, and finished the race on a motorcycle coming in the opposite direction. The driver of the motorcycle and his passenger both lost their lives on the spot.
