Authorities in Istanbul have detained Greek influencer Azra Ay Vandan, also known as Ezra Vandan, over a controversial plan to film a stunt for her OnlyFans site. The incident, which quickly garnered public attention, saw Vandan arrested alongside her father, Pedram Behdar Vandan, who was reportedly meant to document the event.
Vandan had intended to set a personal record by engaging with 100 individuals in 24 hours, with the aim of breaking a national milestone. This stunt was to be shared on her platform with the hashtag #acnoctem. According to Vandan, this would make her the second Greek woman to attempt such a feat. However, Turkish authorities caught wind of her plans and moved swiftly to arrest her.
Since Turkey’s ban on OnlyFans in June 2023, content creators like Vandan have continued to produce content for their followers, despite the restrictions. The arrest was widely covered, and a video of the incident quickly went viral across social media platforms. On X (formerly Twitter), popular platform No Jumper shared a tweet about the arrest, showing images of Vandan being escorted by authorities, while her father appeared to be more forcibly restrained after reportedly getting into a confrontation with officers.
The viral video of Vandan’s arrest sparked numerous reactions on social media, ranging from light-hearted comments to more intense critiques. One user joked, “Well, looks like she really wanted to go out with a bang!” Others expressed frustration over the Turkish government’s decision to ban OnlyFans content. One comment read, “They just banned that because those delicate beta men want to control women in every way,” while another referenced the fear some men have of sexually liberated women.
Azra Ay Vandan, a well-known model and one of Turkey’s leading OnlyFans influencers, has nearly a million followers on Instagram, where she goes by @acnoctem. She had hoped to emulate the achievements of other famous models like Bonnie Blue and Lily Phillips, both of whom have claimed to have set similar records for intimate encounters in a short time frame.
The incident has fueled ongoing debate around internet censorship, the rights of content creators, and the evolving landscape of adult entertainment in Turkey, especially with such prominent figures continuing to challenge societal norms and legal boundaries.
