Several videos on the video sharing platform which went dark in the United States for several hours after being banned – only to be dramatically reinstated by President Trump – alleged Sophie has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a money laundering / fraudulent scheme.
Per the narration of this video, Sophie Rain had her home raided on December 4, 2025, following an alleged investigation into money laundering and fraud.
The video claimed a scheme existed utlizing celebrities to ‘wash’ money from criminal activities. Sophie was discovered as one of those involved leading to a raid on her home and her arrest.
The video claims Sophie denied any knowledge of this scheme and was subsequently released.

The video has amassed close to a million views with fans of Sophie Rain disturbed over the alleged news.
Fans debated in the comments whether the video, released on December 4, had any validity to its claims.

One user was not so convinced but said some of Sophie’s moves could easily be interpreted as money laundering.

Despite the debates, the truth lies in the channel that shared the video, which has amassed millions of views sharing fake crime news stories about celebrities including Tom Cruise, Steve Harvey, Patrick Mahomes, Will Smith, John Cena, and even the Hawk Tuah girl.
