The case of the alleged embezzlement of 700 million CFA francs is gaining momentum. Following the arrest of Tabaski Ngom, the Criminal Investigations Division summoned the chauffeur of Moustapha Diop, deputy mayor of Louga. Mr Ngom is expected to be heard by the investigators on Monday 20 January, as confirmed by his avocat à Seneweb. Tabaski Ngom, inspector of the Treasury, claimed to have remitted the funds to former Minister Moustapha Diop through his chauffeur.
