Langaville – Naledi Jessica Motsepe (17) is the founder of the Bokamoso Foundation, which she established in December 2023 and named after her young niece, Bokamoso.
She attended Strubenvale Primary School after which she became a learner at Springs Secondary School. The foundation came about from an overwhelming sense of gratitude and purpose.
Naledi realised that she wanted to make a more meaningful impact on the community and to leave a lasting legacy that would benefit humanity.
“I grew up with both supportive parents and she had a great upbringing. My mom works as a community development worker (CDW) under the Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Department, and dad worked at the municipality and took his pension,” she explained.
Her inspiration came from both parents but mostly from her mom. Growing up she witnessed her mom’s tireless dedication to empowering and helping out her community, schools and young women and girls through her work.
