On Monday 20 January 2025, during the semi-final of football in Yeumbeul, a tragic event marked the spirits. Moustapha Dieng, a fervent supporter of the ASC Natangue, was mortally assaulted with bricks. The tragedy plunged his family into misunderstanding and grief, and his mother, who lived far from the commune for safety reasons, learned the terrible news by telephone. Having undertaken a journey punctuated by doubts and anxieties to reach the hospital, she was confronted, upon her arrival, with the heartbreaking reality of her son’s death. Medical authorities confirmed that Moustapha had succumbed to serious head and neck injuries. In a testimony received by our confrères de Kawtef, the mother of Moustapha expressed her immense pain and her consternation at the brutality of this act. This murder of unprecedented violence has left the family in total despair, searching for answers to the inexplicable.
