Adoption of the draft decree authorising the President of the Republic to ratify the Convention signed on 17 December 2004 in Rabat between the Government of the Republic of Senegal and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco. It specifically deals with two essential aspects: firstly, judicial assistance in favour of persons detained in order to guarantee their rights and protection throughout the proceedings, and secondly, the transfer of convicted persons, allowing them to serve their sentences in their country of origin. This initiative is part of a process of respect for human rights, facilitation of cross-border judicial procedures and strengthening of bilateral relations between Senegal and Morocco.
