NNL: Heartland forward Okoro reacts to win over Inter Lagos 

Heartland forward, Joel Okoro, has praised the contribution of his teammates in the side’s victory over Inter Lagos.

Okoro netted a brace in the Naze Millionaires 3-2 win over Inter Lagos at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Saturday.

The striker has registered three goals in Heartland’s opening four fixtures this season.

“I was confident that we are going to win the game against Inter Lagos,” Okoro reacted in a post-match interview.

“I and my teammates have a mutual understanding on the way we play and score in games.”

Heartland have garnered seven points from four matches in the NNL this season.
