Apededeejay aims to inspire, uplift listeners

Tsakani – Thabang Themba (20) started his music career as a DJ in 2020 and his friend, Sbusiso ‘Blxckdonny’ Ncube, taught him how to compose and produce. Themba is now an amapiano and hip-hop artist and producer popularly known as ‘Apededeejay’.

“My love for music grew fonder in 2021 after I released my first mixtape titled Amapiano Sessions Volume 1. It
received a lot of love and positive comments, which motivated me and made me work hard,” explained Themba.

He said his love for music started at home, “I come from a family that loves music.”

He released a 13-track album titled Greatness last October.

“I also recently dropped a single titled Nkabi Welele featuring Y3sta and DJ SwG. I am also working on a joint album with them and will drop it in April.

“I aim to drop a solo album, Greatness 2, in October. I am dropping it in because that is when I dropped my first album last year,” he added.
