Ifeanyi Udeze, a former Nigeria international, believes that the Super Eagles’ draw for the AFCON 2025 is an easy one. The draw took place in Rabat, Morocco on Monday, placing the Eagles in Group C alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania. The Eagles will play all their group stage matches in Fez, starting their campaign on December 23 against Tanzania. Additionally, there are opinions suggesting that Chelle could guide the Super Eagles to AFCON success, as noted by Ikpeba. The Super Eagles will face Tunisia on December 27 and conclude the group stage against Uganda on December 30. Udeze expressed on Brila FM’s Sport Machine on Tuesday that he views this group as an easy one for the Super Eagles, emphasizing it is not particularly challenging. He acknowledged the improvement in African football, stating that there are no longer any weak teams, but remains confident that the Super Eagles can advance from the group. “I’m not worried; we just need to approach each match methodically,” he added. In a different draw, Group A features hosts Morocco, Mali, Zambia, and Comoros, while Group B includes seven-time champions Egypt, South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe. Group D consists of Senegal, DR Congo, Benin Republic, and Botswana. Group E will see Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Sudan competing, and Group F is made up of champions Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique. Reported by James Agberebi.
