“Let My Name Be Cleared, I Was Unaware of This” – Sarkodie Responds to the Controversy Surrounding the “Makoma” Music Video.

Sarkodie, a singer from Ghana, has rebuffed accusations made by director Yaw Skyface, who claimed he skipped the Kofi Mole music video shoot for” Makoma.” Sarkodie took to social press to refute the claims, asking the director and the internet to refrain from spreading false information about him.
Addressing the issue, Sarkodie explained that his presence was expected to confusion, no intentional neglect. He said,” Yaa momma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo”, which translates to” Allow my name to rest, I’m pleading with you”. He added,” I have no idea about this, and if it actually happened, there was a mistake somewhere. I’m simply responding to this because I’m in love with Kofi Mole, my superstar. I don’t enjoy sports … I’m in or not”.
But, Yaw Skyface, during an interview on Hitz FM, claimed that Sarkodie missed two appointed sessions for the shot. He stated,” Yeah, we set up two nights, and he didn’t show up. The one in contact with Sarkodie was Kofi Mole. I believe he wasn’t happy with the times. And we didn’t even stay waiting … It doesn’t make sense. Although I’m not sure who Kofi was conversing with, I believe Sarkodie was wrong about the timing.
Despite the mistake, Sarkodie reaffirmed his enthusiasm for Kofi Mole and stressed that any misunderstandings was strictly unexpected.
