
Former Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge has revealed the private conversation he had with winger Mohamed Salah about his future at Anfield.
Salah had a fall-out with Liverpool manager Arne Slot over perceived disrespect shown in benching him for multiple games including, leaving him out of the Redsā squad that defeated Inter Milan onĀ Tuesday.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, Sturridge revealed that he has held talks with Salah.
āMo has told me, āI love this football club. I donāt want to leave this club. This is where I want to beā,ā Sturridge said (via SportBible).
āI donāt know how he is going to feel, but I think there needs to be another conversation between the manager and Mohamed Salah.ā
Salah is all set to join the Egyptian national football team ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
