After a picture of her as over a crippled man’s mind surfaced, a Georgian healthcare worker was detained and charged with a felony. The ominous video quickly became popular, causing a lot of outcry on social media.
The event involved 19-year-old Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan, who was filmed in clothes and a headset, dancing innocently over the seated individual. On January 23, 2025, the Loganville Police Department received an alert and quickly launched an investigation. Loganville Police Chief M. D. Lowry expressed his disdain, saying,” I was appalled and greatly disturbed that anyone would bend so small as to create a film featuring a susceptible, disabled people in such a way”.
Koiyan was detained and charged with one count of misdemeanor criminal exploitation of a crippled people. She was taken into the Walton County Jail and later released on a$ 7,500 bond. Authorities are also looking into a minute video, which allegedly shows Koiyan engaging in similar habits with a disabled person.
A wider discussion about professionalism and respect in medical settings has been sparked by this tragedy. Some have condemned Koiyan’s steps, calling for stricter laws to prevent for behavior.
