Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given injury updates ahead of this weekendâs Premier League clash against Wolves.
Arteta, speaking to the media on Friday, listed a couple of players who are getting close to fitness.
William Saliba could make a return for the match on Saturday and Arteta is confident he will be fit to return against Everton next weekend if not.
Saliba has not featured since the 3-1 win over Bayern Munich on November 26.
âWe have to wait and see,â Arteta said.
âYesterday we didnât train. He hasnât trained with us yet. We have an extra day. We train this afternoon. Letâs see if he can be available for that.
âIt remains the same [a matter of days]. If you ask me for the Everton game, I think he will be fit. For tomorrow, I donât know.â
Arteta would not confirm whether Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard will be available having missed the midweek win against Club Brugge.
