Popular Ghanaian artist poop TikTok star and influence, Asantewaa, has expressed her anger after discovering that GH¢25, 000 suddenly vanished from her GCB Bank accounts.
The social media personality revealed this during a live TikTok interview, in which she explained how the sizable amount was taken from her bill under ominous circumstances.
No concrete steps have been taken to resolve the issue or retrieve her lost funds, according to Asantewaa, despite filing a complaint with the lender.
She lamented GCB Bank’s lack of action, praising their handling of the situation, and blaming their frail surveillance system, which she believes makes it simple for thieves to take advantage of customers.
” I don’t know how this happened, but my money is gone, and the lender isn’t doing anything about it”, she fumed.
“GCB needs to improve its safety because people’s hard-earned income is at risk”. She added.
Some social media users who share similar tales of alleged fraudulent transactions and unexpected deductions with her have sparked a lot of problem.
Some have urged the Bank of Ghana to conduct an investigation into the security of electronic banking systems in order to protect customers from monetary losses.
