On January 13, 2025, the African Union Extraordinary Summit in Kampala, Uganda, approved a new 10-year Strategy and Action Plan for the Post-Malabo Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). The strategy focuses on creating robust, inclusive, and sustainable agrifood systems throughout the continent, tackling pressing issues such as hunger, climate change, and economic challenges. This follows a reflection on the Malabo Declaration, drawing insights for the CAADP 2026–2035 Strategy.
