
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday arrived in Maiduguri for a one-day state visit to Borno State.
The presidential jet landed at the Nigerian Air Force wing of Maiduguri International Airport at about 12:58 p.m., where Tinubu was received by Governor Babagana Zulum, his deputy Usman Kadafur, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, members of the National Assembly, State House of Assembly lawmakers, and other top government officials.
During the visit, Tinubu is scheduled to inaugurate a fleet of vehicles at Ramat Square for onward distribution.
He is also expected to commission the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secondary School along Shehu Palace Road, among other projects.
