Former Nigerian international Dosu Joseph expresses his optimism about the Flying Eagles advancing to the knockout rounds of the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) conducted the official draw. The seven-time champions will compete in Group B alongside Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco during the tournament set to occur in Côte d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18. He shared his thoughts in an interview with Completesports. According to com, the Olympic gold medalist from Atlanta expressed confidence that the Flying Eagles will triumph over their rivals. Additionally, Corberán praised Sadiq’s performance in the draw against Villarreal. It is certainly true that the Flying Eagles will encounter tough challenges against Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa in Group B. Nevertheless, I remain hopeful that Nigeria will advance from the group to the knockout rounds.
