Report of two matches in favour of the “Lamb”: la Ligue Pro tape sur la table et dénonce une…

La Ligue Sénégalaise de Football Professionnel (LSFP) is furious after having been, once again, informed by the Police Authority of the inability of its services to ensure the security of matches. The matches between US Gorée-Guédiawaye FC and Ajel-Oslo for the 15th round of Ligue 1 were, in fact, postponed in favour of the Ama Baldé vs Franc match scheduled for this Sunday at l’Arène nationale. In its communiqué exploité par nos confrères du Sénégal, la Ligue pro a haussé le ton.. ” The Senegalese Professional Football League has once again been informed by the Police Authority of the inability of its services to ensure the security of the US GOREE vs Guédiawaye matches, scheduled for Sunday 16 July at the Stade Municipal de Grand Yoff, as well as AJEL vs OSLO, scheduled at the Stade Ngalandou Diouf. This recurrent situation of boycotting football in favour of another discipline, namely combat de lutte, is not justified and causes a moral and financial prejudice to the organising clubs. Le match AS PIKINE vs Generation Foot, originally scheduled for Sunday, 16 February 2024, had to be moved to Saturday, 16 February in order to free itself from the grip of the Arène Nationale”, reads the document..
