The Tabaski Ngom affair: ” I am not in the business of deception “, expresses Momath Bâ

The former director general of the Agency for the Promotion of Industrial Sites (Aprosi) has been charged and placed under judicial control in this case of alleged embezzlement of approximately 700 million FCFA. To avoid prison, he agreed to pay a bail of 90 million F cfa. Although the financial parquet had requested a mandat de dépôt against him, Momath Bâ got away with it by putting his hand in his pocket. He broke the silence during a media outing reported by the private radio RFM to reassure his supporters. Momath Bâ was obliged to clarify his position, reaffirming that he was in no way involved in illicit acts… “I have done a hard work in the service of my country. Thank you for your prayers and support. I have always been at the service of the country. I can assure you that I am not involved in any misappropriation of funds or in any illegal activities”, he declared firmly. He launched an appeal to the authorities to promote the development of his locality, underlining the shortcomings that persist.
