Following the publication of the report of the Court of Auditors, the Government of Senegal intends to take measures to restore public finances. Thus, the Minister Secretary General of the Government, Ahmadou Almine Lo, announced the austerity measures which will affect certain sectors. In fact, according to Almine Lo, the priority of the reforms will be to reduce public expenditure.
