It is possible that I am mistaken, perhaps seriously, but one thing is certain: to adopt a posture of silence under the pretext of exercising responsibilities is neither judicious, nor acceptable, nor justifiable. Our country is going through a critical period, marked by major challenges which require the unfailing mobilization of all the living forces of the nation. The public finances, mismanaged by a predatory management under the regime of Macky Sall and his allies, have been subjected to a systematic squandering of national resources, revealing a greed and a total lack of sense of the general interest. These destabilization manoeuvres, orchestrated by forces nostalgic of the old system, are aimed at impeding the reforms undertaken to establish a virtuous and sovereign governance. In the face of this adversity, it is imperative that all those responsible, at whatever level they are, adopt a position of resistance and uncompromising defence of the project. The time is neither for complacency nor for hesitation: it is a matter of building a solid wall against the forces of inertia and the status quo. The patriotic commitment must be permanent, the constant vigilance and the determination without fail. Only those who have defended, with courage and integrity, the superior interest of the nation, have truly served their country.
