Land And Agricultural Development Bank Of SA Says Some IT Systems Temporary Off-LineĀ

Pretoria – The Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa, including its subsidiary Land Bank Insurance Company, is experiencing a temporary disruption affecting certain internal IT systems.

Announcing the temporary disruption on Thursday, 15 January 2026, the Land Bank said: ā€œAs a precautionary measure, affected systems were taken off-line to protect the Bank’s operations and informationā€.

The Land Bank said the matter is receiving the highest priority, and its internal IT teams, supported by external specialists, were actively assessing the situation and working to restore full functionality securely and responsibly.

ā€œWhile some services and transactions may be temporarily disrupted, the Bank is making steady progress and will provide further updates as key milestones are reached, including on anticipated restoration timelines,ā€ stated the Land Bank.

While the Land Bank said it regrets any inconvenience caused, it assured its clients, stakeholders, and the public that safeguarding its operations and the interests of its clients remains a top priority.
