NPP-aligned Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, has come under fire from social media users after sharing a post mocking Ghanaians over the current state of the economy.
Osei, after campaigning for the NPP relentlessly which did nothing in aiding the party retain power, has now decided it is time to mock Ghanaians for rejecting the failed policies of his government.
In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), David Osei asked Ghanaians if the change of government has led to the country becoming a land flowing with milk and honey yet.
“Ghana how far? Are you enjoying the Mahama administration,” he sarcastically queried. “I hear they are giving everyone milk and honey…24/7 electricity and market women making outrageous sales?”
His post angered netizens with many taking into the comments to tear him apart.
“Never seen someone like this guy who deliberately opens himself up for public disrespect.. smh,” one user wrote.
Another said: “Silly child with butterfly nose😂,”
Prince David Osei campaigned for the NPP in 2016 to win power and spent the next eight years defending every ill-conceived move the government made. Ahead of the 2024 elections, Ghanaians finally got fed up and every single post he made was bombarded with angry replies and attacks on his personality.
