NPFL: Niger Tornadoes Make Lafia City Stadium Their New Home Ground

According to Completesports, the Niger Tornadoes have chosen the Lafia City Stadium to serve as their temporary home venue. The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has suspended the home ground of the Ikon Allah Boys, the Bako Kontagaro Stadium in Minna, due to its playing surface being deemed unplayable. The NPFL also rejected the first alternative home ground, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, chosen by Niger Tornadoes. Consequently, the Minna club will play away against Lobi Stars in a matchday 26 fixture at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Wednesday. Mohammed Majin’s team is set to host Enyimba in their inaugural game at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday. Reported by Adeboye Amosu.
