Ronaldo Nazario, the Brazilian football icon, revealed that he moved to Real Madrid because he felt undervalued by Barcelona. After departing from Camp Nou, he initially signed with Inter before eventually joining Real Madrid. In an interview with DAZN, Ronaldo mentioned that he did not want to leave Barcelona when his contract ended in 1997. “I was on the verge of signing an extension right after the season concluded, and then I went on vacation to Brazil. Just five days later, I received a call informing me that the extension was no longer possible.” It was never up to me; I wanted to remain. “If the club didn’t appreciate me as they ought to, that decision wasn’t mine.” I would have liked to remain, but as I mentioned, it wasn’t my decision..
