Liverpool is in a position to support Salah in his pursuit of the Ballon d’Or, according to Slot.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has stated that the team will do their utmost to assist Mohamed Salah in securing this year’s Ballon d’Or. He shared this information prior to Liverpool’s Premier League match against Newcastle United. Slot mentioned, “It would enhance his chances, but the last player to win it, I believe Rodri, only clinched the league title and not the Champions League.” Winning is not just about the number of awards you receive; I believe that most past winners have likely secured either the league title or the Champions League title, though I’m not entirely certain. Also, the Flying Eagles have arrived in Abidjan for their friendlies against Cote d’Ivoire. “In football, it’s always about the team supporting individual achievements, and Mo truly grasps this concept well at the moment. His work ethic, particularly in the second half and throughout most of the match, was excellent and played a crucial role in giving us a chance to win against City.” Having Mo in the conversation is positive since it indicates his success, and it reflects positively on our own performance as well. In order for him to remain part of that conversation, he needs to maintain the same level of performance he has shown for the past seven or eight months. I believe that typically, a player who wins the Ballon d’Or should also achieve some significant success, so this presents a considerable challenge for us and for him as well.
