You are not condemned – Cleric assures Nigerians

Christian Cleric in Akwa Ibom State, Apostle John Okoriko has urged the people to live above self condemnation, assuring them of Jesus Christ’s redemption to humanity.

He noted that condemnation ranging from racial, self or tribal is the most awful belief of man.

This is coming after another Cleric, Reverend Yinka Yusuf had his crusade cancelled in Akwa Ibom by the State government following his alleged denigrating and damning comments against the citizens.

However, Apostle Okoriko, who was not reacting to the controversy, regretted the high rate of doctrinal imbalance among Christians.

Speaking during the monthly Interactive Service for the month of February on the theme, “The Second Adam,” Apostle Okoriko regretted the high rate of doctrinal imbalance among Christians saying there are several secrets in the scriptures that can only be revealed in due season.

According to him, “There are truths we don’t want to know because of long-established doctrines. Condemnation is the most awful belief, be it racial, self, or humanity, but Jesus came to erase these from human consciousness. You are not condemned.

“Jesus didn’t come to condemn anybody in the world. All the developments in science and technology in the world is telling us that God can give his wisdom to anybody. Our problem is that we have so many doctrinal imbalances. We should be prepared to have the consciousness of what and who God is.”

Okoriko also disclosed that the first Adam was the manifestation of the second Adam that came from above in the person of Jesus Christ to redeem the world.
