Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has given his old club reasons to reverse the decision on midfielder Casemiro’s departure from Old Trafford.
Despite the announcement, Ferdinand believes that the Brazilian should be rewarded with a contract extension due to his impressive performances under caretaker manager Michael Carrick.
“Where is Casemiro going? He needs to sign a new deal,” Ferdinand stated on his YouTube channel.
“We need to get him another contract and say, ‘you know what, give us another year’.
“Because we are going to have to go out and replace him and the way he is performing at the moment under Micheal Carrick, we are going to have to spend a lot of money to replace Casemiro.”
