
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday appointed Engr. Adesayo Olusegun Michael as the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).
This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by a presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
The president also appointed other board members, including Engr. Aliyu Abdulazeez (Executive Director, Technical); Ikechi Clara Nwosu (Chairman, South East); Zubair Abdurārauf Idris (Member); Igba Elizabeth (Member-North Central); Sani Alhaji Shehu (MemberāNorth East); Adeyemi Adetunji (MemberāSouth West); Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe (MemberāSouth South); and Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa (South East).
Reacting to the National President of the Nigeria Consumer Protection Network, Kunle Olubiyo, he said the newly appointed MD of NEMSA is fitting for the position. āHe is fit for the purpose,ā Olubiyo said.
Similarly, Tinubu made fresh leadership appointments into two other federal government agencies.
Accordingly, Hon. Magaji Daāu Aliyu was appointed as the Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex, Abuja.
Also, the President nominated Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi, and Abdullahi Muktar, representing Kaduna, as Commissioners to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The president has sent the two nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
