Abure, others broke into Labour Party headquarters, stole valuables – Nenadi Usman

The Interim National Chairman of the Labour Party, Nenadi-Usman, has said that Julius Abure and others illegally invaded the party’s National Secretariat and carted away valuables.

Usman said this while responding to questions in an interview with newsmen.

She alleged that Abure with one Umar Farouk and others broke into the the national headquarters of the party and stole incriminating evidence.

“We are not against anybody. We want to work with everybody who wants to work with us. We just want to build the party.

“And for those of them who have the interests of the party at heart and are willing to work with us, we are working together.

“When you work in an office, a ministry or a political party, every document that belongs to that office belongs to the office. When it’s your time to go, you go and you leave the documents so that those who come from behind know what has happened and they will build on it.

“But for us to say that whenever you are leaving a ministry or you are living a political party still come in the night to steal all the documents and run away, there’s something terribly wrong about it,” she said.
