U-20 WWCQ: Falconets overcome Senegal, to face Malawi in final round 

Nigeria’s Falconets beat Senegal 2-1 in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third qualifying round tie on Saturday night.

Moses Aduku’s edged the contest 3-1 on aggregate.

Kindness Ifeanyi, who scored the only goal in Nigeria’s 1-0 first leg win last weekend in Abeokuta, opened scoring for the Falconets from a header in the 18th minute.

Precious Oscar doubled Nigeria’s lead from another corner in the 68th minute.

Senegal reduced the deficit towards the end of the game.

The Falconets will face Malawi in the final qualifying round.

The winner on aggregate will qualify for Poland 2026, which is scheduled for September.
