
Heartland technical adviser, Emmanuel Amuneke, has admitted that his team struggled in the victory over Abia Comets.
The Naze Millionaires edged out Abia Comets 2-1 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Saturday.
Amuneke acknowledged the quality of the visitors in the game.
He, however, commended his players for their determination in getting the victory.
āI have to congratulate the boys as the first half wasnāt a good game for us, we struggled in the midfield and we conceded a goal from nothing as we werenot able to mark themā Amuneke told Heartlandās media.
āIn the second half we were able to play to get the victory, we played against a very good team in Abia Comets.
āThe objective is to get the maximum points in the league and we did that we will still go back and continue to improve on our game.ā
