Disappearance of Didier Badji and Fulbert Sambou: The enigma is deepening, the justice intensifies its research

The case of the mysterious disappearance of the adjutant-chef Didier Badji and the sergeant Fulbert Sambou, which occurred on 18 November 2022, has a major rebound. According to the newspaper Les Échos, justice has just reached a new decisive stage in its investigations. The body of Fulbert Sambou had been found five days after their disappearance, off Cap Manuel, while Didier Badji remains, to this day, unknown. This lack of a conclusion fuels speculation about the exact circumstances of this troubling affair. Determined to elucidate this enigma, the investigating judge does not limit himself to material facts. It also seeks to understand the personality of the disappeared, in particular that of Didier Badji, whose fate remains unknown. According to Les Échos, the Section de Recherches (SR) has been charged with interrogating two relatives of Didier Badji in order to gather elements likely to advance the investigation. What really happened that night? Why was only the body of Fulbert Sambou found?
