The three-month deadline for the registration of two-wheelers expires on 13 March 2025. A few days before this deadline, many drivers appealed to the authorities for an extension of the deadline, believing that several of them had not yet been able to regularize their situation. Speaking on the RFM, Mamadou Préside NDIAYE, president of the Fédération nationale des motos tiak-tiak, pleaded for a report on the deadline, underlining the many difficulties encountered during the registration process. In the face of this situation, the players in the sector are hoping for a rapid reaction from the authorities to avoid thousands of drivers ending up in illegality at the end of the period initially planned.
