In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA/PR/2026/21) from Abuja, Nigerians abroad were urged to exercise heightened vigilance and adhere strictly to safety protocols amid the unfolding security situation.

Key guidance issued by the Ministry advised Nigerians to; Maintain awareness, remain alert and avoid areas near military, strategic, or government installations that may become potential flash points.
