During his intervention in the programme “Salam Sénégal” on Radio Sénégal Internationale (RSI) on Wednesday 5 February, Bassirou Kébé, president of the Liggey Sunu Reew movement and member of the APR, reacted to the proposals of the government spokesman, Moustapha Ndieck Sarre. According to him, the former president has not committed any act susceptible of being qualified as treason or crime. On the contrary, he believes that Macky Sall deserves to be congratulated for his achievements in infrastructure and social development. “Macky Sall has transformed the country and deserves congratulations for his progress in infrastructure and development”, added Bassirou Kébé. However, he specified that the Minister was speaking in a personal capacity. A precision which Kébé considered necessary, because it suggested that Sarre had become aware of the consequences of his propos, both nationally and internationally.
