​The Super Falcons remain in the 36th spot in the most recent FIFA rankings.    

 

Nigeria’s Super Falcons held onto their 36th spot in the most recent FIFA women’s world rankings announced on Thursday. This ranking marks the first for 2025, shared on FIFA’s official website. The nine-time African champions also remain the top-ranked team on the continent. The Super Falcons have consistently ranked 36th since March 2024. Additionally, the Flamingos arrived in Pretoria for their match against South Africa. Justine Madugu’s team maintained their ranking throughout June, August, and December of 2024. The Falcons last played in a friendly match against France in November. They were defeated 2-1 by Les Bleues. In Africa, South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, and Ghana round out the top five nations.
